Design of Two Single-Family Residential Buildings on Adjacent Plots in Ostromila District, Plovdiv

Two single-family houses are designed on adjacent plots in the Ostromila district of Plovdiv. Each house has a total built-up area (GFA) of 127 sq.m. The houses are detached within their respective plots. Vehicle and pedestrian access is from the south, facing the street. The main entrance to the houses is from the north, but there is also an exit to the south leading to a covered veranda. Each plot includes parking for two vehicles.

Each residential building consists of a ground floor (elevation ±0.00) and a second floor (elevation +2.80).

The ground floor includes a living room, kitchenette, utility/laundry room, bathroom, entrance hall, boiler room, staircase, and a covered veranda. The second floor is accessed via a monolithic two-flight staircase.

On the second floor, there are three bedrooms—one with a private bathroom and walk-in closet—an additional shared bathroom for the other two bedrooms, a corridor, and a terrace.

The roof is hipped, with a slope of 35% (approximately 22 degrees), constructed from timber, insulated for both thermal and waterproofing protection, and finished with "Bramac" Atica tiles.
