The project concerns a guest house in the town of Laki, Laki Municipality. The access to the plot is from the east, and the terrain has a significant slope. The building is situated in the upper part of the plot.
The house is two-storey, without a basement, and served by a monolithic staircase lit from the façade.
At elevation 0.00, the ground floor includes: entrance hall, toilet, storage room, utility room with direct access to the terrain via a covered veranda.
At elevation +3.15, the second floor comprises: three guest rooms (one with en-suite bathroom and terrace), an additional bathroom for the other two rooms, and a corridor.
The load-bearing structure is monolithic reinforced concrete.
Exterior walls are 25 cm ceramic brick masonry with external thermal insulation. Thermal bridges are treated with insulation externally on the concrete structure and walls. Interior partition walls are 12 cm and 25 cm thick.
The roof is gable, waterproofed and covered with black Tondach ceramic tiles. Drainage is provided by visible PVC gutters and downpipes attached to the façade.
The façades are thermally insulated and finished with natural stone cladding, decorative timber elements (including eaves and fascia boards), and partial vertical timber siding. Wooden windows are used, with double glazing (white float low-emission K-glass).
